“Mell of a Hess” 2005
“Winter Circles” 2007

“Recorded at Portland’s AUDIOWELLS with Jason Wells at the controls, “Mell of a Hess” jumps and swings in new directions. It’s easy to lose the subtleties of acoustic music, of string against wood, in a recording studio. But this recording is vibrant to the ear, fertile in imagination, a stellar piece of work in a city where string music has taken root and sprouted in wildly organic ways.” - Don Cambell, The Oregonian. Sept. 30, 2005

Trashcan Joe
“Wrong Side of Town” 2005
“Real Life” 2007

“Trashcan Joe is a marvel, a wonder that defies categorization in any sort of contemporary setting.” Don Campbell, The Oregonian. Jan 15, 2005
